Shamrock Magic and Alphabet Practice

Today, at Nishihara, we practiced writing the Alphabet by tracing the capital letters that were made into a packet for each student. Each packet had the letter written for the student to see nice and big, had a picture that correlated with the letter, had nine spots for the student to trace the letter, and then had to pick out the letter and circle it amongst the other letters shown. Most students finished the packet. When the packet was completed all students had to go through with the teacher and say the letter, the sound of the letter, and the picture correlated with the letter and/or sound. The students did well with this activity.
今日西原校では、各自が待っている手作りのアルファベットの本を使い、字を書く練習をしました。それぞれのページには、大きい字でアルファベットが書いてあり、その文字で始まる言葉の絵があります。字を書くスペースは９ヶ所もあり、色々な文字の中からそのアルファベットを探し、丸しなきゃいけない箇所もあります。全部終わった人は、そのアルファべットが何か、そして音がどんなか先生と一緒に復習しました。みんなとても上手に出来ました。
After, we had
Shamrock MAGIC The student's used wax crayons to write a lucky message in his or her shamrock and then covered the shamrock in paint. When the paint is fully dried the secret "Lucky" message will shine through the paint. It was quite magical!!!
その後には「はじき絵」をしました。各自の三つ葉にクレヨンでラッキーメッセージを書き、その上から絵具を塗り、乾くと、そのメッセージが浮かび上がります。魔法みたいでみんな楽しそうでした。
