Leprechauns are on the Loose!

Today, at Nishihara, we made LEPRECHAUNS!今日西原校ではレプラコーンを作りました。
A leprechaun is a small figurine associated with the Holiday called St. Patrick's Day celebrated by Americans all across the world. This holiday is an Irish celebration, but regardless of ones nationality, one will celebrate St. Patrick's Day. During this time, March 17th, you are to wear all GREEN, eat green food, and drink green drinks!
セントパトリックデーは元々はアイルランドの祝日ですが、アメリカ全土でお祝いしたり、人種関係なくお祝いされています。レプラコーンはその日に関係している小人のキャラクターです。この時期や、３月１７日の当日には、みんな緑の服を着たり、緑の食べ物を食べたり、緑の飲み物を飲みます。
For the story time to explain the leprechaun making, we read Let's Celebrate St. Patrick's Day by Peter and Connie Roop.
今日ストーリータイムにはPeter and Connie Roop 作の「Let's Celebrate St. Patrick's Day」という本を読みました。このお話でレプラコーンのお話をしました。
