Sounds, Sounds, Sounds....

Today, at Nishihara, we had a very busy day. First, we started off by talking about our day. Practicing responses to "How was your day today?" The students would say, "My day was.... because...." After our discussion we moved into our daily routine and talked about what day it is, month, year, weather, and season.
今日の西原キッズアカデミーではいろんなことをしましたよ～(^o^)
まず最初に、今日の出来事について話をしました。"How was your day today?"「今日はどんな日だった？」という質問に"My day was.... because...."「今日は・・・な日でした。なぜなら・・・」を使って答える練習をしました☆
そのあとは、いつものように曜日・月・年・天気・季節などを練習しました。
Today's lesson was based on phonetic sounds. The student's practiced writing the alphabet on whiteboards and then had to say the sounds for all of the letters that he or she wrote.
今日はABCの発音を中心にレッスンをしました。ホワイトボードにアルファベットの練習をして、自分が書いた文字の音を言ってみました♪
For activity time we danced to the Cotton Eyed Joe (American song) and the Cha Cha Slide. These are two very popular song/dances in the American culture. Usually these types of dances are played at weddings for entertainment, birthday parties, or some other type of celebration for entertainment purposes.
アクティビティータイムには、アメリカの the Cotton Eyed Joe とthe Cha Cha Slide という音楽に合わせてダンスをしました♪
この２つはアメリカでとても人気のあるダンスで、結婚式やお誕生日会などお祝いの時に踊ります(^^)
Then, to end our day we had snack and then the kids played with GeoBoards until the good-bye song time. What a fun day!!!
最後にみんなでスナックを食べて、Good-byeソングの時間までGeoBoardsというゲームをしました。
とても楽しい1日でした～♪
